Willingness to Communicate and Communication Quality in ESL Classrooms

Abstract

A gap in the classroom research involving the concept of “Willingness to Communicate (WTC) is that no attempts have been made to investigate the relationship between WTC and actual communication quality. This research study addresses that gap. Students’ oral production in English and classroom interaction are analyzed.
