Motivation in Chinese University EFL Learners in Varying Learning Contexts

Abstract

Research on the role of motivation in language learning has gained wide popularity with several models being promoted. Using survey data and reflective journals, the present study sought to investigate motivation types and their effect on student performance in three different university contexts in China.
